Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted in her early years and entered the second grade when she was five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her take home Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to take on a job as a model. Within a month, Stone signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency. Then, she moved to Europe for a time, and lived in Milan and Paris. Stone, however, became unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to pursue her career acting as a model while she was in Europe. In her 20s, she starred in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
