Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent in the very first round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
